This couple has a beautiful love story that is laced with love of music, food, and culture and they share that with a wonderful eclectic group of family and friends. The bride's mother and Aunt contacted Party On! to plan an engagement celebration while the couple was traveling home from San Francisco where they currently reside. A Mexican theme was chosen to celebrate family heritage, and we included reminders of the Southwest desert in both the decor and food selection. The color pallet was designed around a grapefruit, a smell that hangs in the Arizona air this time of year and a key ingredient in the drink honoring the bride, a Paloma. Party On! arranged the florals which included nopales (cactus paddles), custom covered furniture cushions to match the nights theme, and hung traditional papel picado with the Spanish word for "love". Guests dined on treats from The Tamale Store, delicious posole made by the bride's grandfathers restaurant, and an endless supply of churros. Guests danced into the night under a bright full moon to the sounds of the mariachi.
