Courtney and James chose Baltimore, the city where they met as the location for their beautiful nautical themed wedding. We scoped out locations for their first look, and decided on a pier overlooking inner harbor. The moment was magical and heartfelt. The couple was married at a Catholic church by a priest who after the ceremony, in typical Baltimore fashion, "had to run" because there was an O's playoff game to catch. After the ceremony the bridal party all took a water taxi to the reception. It was a great opportunity to just relax in the craziness of the day and a lovely opportunity for some group shots. Held at Frederick Douglass Maritime Museum, also on the water, the reception was sparkling. One of the greatest dance parties I've ever witnessed broke out and several of the couples friends payed fun tribute by writing and performing songs. Dessert featured canolis, a specialty from the grooms childhood in New York. Many handmade details provided by PARTY ON! and the brides family were all incorporated for a classic northeastern feel.
