Let's get down and dirty about what I do. There are all kinds of glittery shows on TV about weddings and parties. How glamorous it all seems right? Cocktails and sequins and limos, oh my! I'm here to tell you a little about what it takes to get to those money shots and why you need me. I've seen it all, and I'm an expert in making sure your guests don't. While Aunt Susan is sipping her martini in 4 inch heels, I'm behind the hedge leaning over holding a blond two year old flower girl at just the right angle so she can avoid getting barf all over her white dress (yes, that actually happened and her mother was forever grateful). Someone knocked the cake upside down on the floor, the mother of the bride has a migraine, the host brought two non matching socks, one groomsman can't find his tie, the transport bus blew an engine. All of these have happened, and with years of experience, I've learned to keep my cool and smooth over every situation. Not everything goes perfect, but when you hire a planner, you can rest assured it will be corrected and no one will know better of it.
My house and studio are in a constant cycle of creative projects. Here you see 250+ hand painted watercolor invitations. Luckily, I rarely need the kitchen island.

My backseat and trunk are NEVER empty. Luckily, it's typically something fun like $42,000 worth of wedding dresses pictured here. This was for a styled shoot which can sometimes span two 10+ hour days. It's long and arduous to get those beautiful editorial quality shots.
On day-of coordination I always make sure to wear sunscreen and bug spray. Locations can get crazy. There's no glam in mosquito bites.
Set up is no joke. You'll rarely see me in heels just bossing people around. I'm a get dirty and get-it-done kind of girl. If there's a tractor involved, even better.
I have a background in a lot of fields. I've worked with caterers, florists, photographers, and other planners. Understanding all pieces of the party allows me to help where needed. I'm a stickler for details, including a straight and proper boutonniere, keeping everyone on point.
When working with photographers, the magic is in the details. Note my signature messy bun hair.
I also enjoy myself. In between coordination duties you can find me busting a move on the dance floor, sampling a macaroon for quality control, and perfecting my photo booth selfie face.
